Worship Service Accommodations

Standing and Kneeling:

The prayer book will call for standing or kneeling at some points in the service. This is not expected from those who may find this uncomfortable. Several of our members find it convenient to remain seated during the service.

Holy Communion:

It is not easy for everyone to come forward to the altar for communion – particularly in the main church where there are 3 steps to negotiate. If you would prefer, please feel free to indicate to the usher that you would like the bread and wine brought to you at your seat. This is a frequent occurrence for us and not the slightest bit inconvenient.

Wheelchair / walker parking:

We do not have designated spaces for wheel chair users. You are more than welcome to remain in an isle alongside other family members – our ministers and choir have no issues processing around these. Walkers can be kept at your seat, or you can request that the ushers take them to the back. The ushers are quite glad to assist.

Large print worship books are available upon request.
